Have you heard the story about the fashion model who is an advocate for anti-consumerism? It seems a bit oxymoronic. After all, it is the fashion models job is to help sale the clothing, right? Meet Wilson Oryema. He is a successful fashion model and the author of the book Wait, Oryema’s exploration of excessive human consumption. Oryema understands that his job and his beliefs might appear to be contradictory. However, he hopes to shed light on an issue that could be improved if properly examined.
