RMS: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned?
JN: It’s gotta be my black Guess coat. I remember when I bought it. I was still living with my parents and finally started making a little bit of money on my own. This coat was one of my first “Treat yo’ self” purchases after college.
RMS: How do you describe your personal style?
JN: I feel like I dress very basic. Solid button downs with skinny jeans. I aim for looking nice, but not standing out too much.
RMS: What are you most likely to become famous for?
JN: Probably some dumb viral video that everyone will get tired of hearing about within a week. I’m always catching something funny on my Snapchat.
RMS: What job would you be terrible at?
JN: Anything dealing with phone calls or having to think things up on the spot in front of important people. Right now, my job is in social media and I love it because I’m given at least a little time to really think about what I want to say. I’m definitely one of those people who thinks of the perfect thing to say in an argument like 5 minutes after it’s over with.
RMS: What skill would you like to master?
JN: Piano. I want to be that guy in the airport or mall that just walks up to a piano, plays something really good for a few minutes, and looks up to see a big crowd gathered with a roaring applause.
RMS: What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
JN: A concert, or better yet, a music festival with a lineup of artists I love and drinks that aren’t like $15 each.
RMS: What is the best advice you ever received?
JN: “Believe in your flyness, conquer your shyness.” Thanks, Kanye.
RMS: What is something most people don’t know about you?
JN: I actually have no clue what I’m doing most of the time. Fake it ’til you make it pro.
RMS: Who inspires you to be better?
JN: All of the successful people who are younger than me. Like y’all are awesome. Let me know how I can do it too.
RMS: What are you most looking forward to in 2017?
JN: Definitely traveling to new places and experiencing new things. I just got my very first passport in the mail last week and I’m so excited to fill it up with different stamps. I’ve been following a few travel bloggers on social media for years, so I’m pumped to finally stop living a fun life through a tiny bright screen and see these places in person.
