I believe we often take our hands for granted. From typing to texting, cooking and cleaning, we put our hands through a lot. As the temperature drops, our hands can take a beating. Winter weather is sure to leave our hands ashy, dry and decrepit. Ain’t nobody go time for that! To help you avoid harsh winter hands, below is a DIY hand cream your hands will thank you for!

What You Will Need:
1 teaspoon of cocoa butter
2 teaspoons of beeswax
2 oz of almond oil

What To Do:
Melt the cocoa butter and beeswax in a bowl over a pan of boiling water. Then add the almond oil. At this point, you may add about 10 drops of the essential oil of your choosing. Lavender or sandalwood should work well with this recipe. After this, pour the mixture into a jar to cool. SPECIAL NOTE: this mixture is best used at night so that the oils can thoroughly moisturize the hands.

Enjoy!
